OHS Regional Supervisor

Role Description
· Oversee and ensure the implementation of OHS activities across assigned plants (Germany, Italy Hungary, Bosnia).
· Ensure full compliance with local legislation and Group OHS standards in all countries.
· Coordinate and monitor the performance and compliance of internal and outsourced OHS staff across sites.
· Manage and harmonize risk assessment processes and ensure effective risk mitigation actions.
· Plan, execute, and consolidate internal, cross-site, and third-party audits (ISO 45001, SEDEX, BSCI).
· Analyze incidents and occupational accidents, lead root cause analysis, and drive preventive actions across sites.
· Coordinate and align emergency response plans, ensuring readiness and consistency among all plants.
Monitor OHS KPIs, reporting, and budgets, supporting safety-related investment planning.
· Promote a strong safety culture and share best practices across multicultural and international teams.
Support the deployment of Group OHS initiatives and ensure effective use of digital OHS tools.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Environmental, Safety, Industrial or similar)
· Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health & Safety, preferably in industrial settings
· Strong knowledge of OHS regulations and ISO 45001 standards
· Relevant certifications (e.g., RSPP/ASPP, NEBOSH or equivalent) are a plus
· Experience in risk assessment, audits, and incident/root cause analysis
· Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments
· Proactive mindset, high sense of responsibility, and commitment to continuous improvement
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with familiarity with digital OHS tools
· Good command of English and willingness to travel/relocate within Europe (Italy-based)
· Valid Italian work permit or European citizenship
