More About the Role
- Plan and execute the optimization of logistics flows across the transportation network, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources for inbound, outbound, and intercompany logistics activities through route and load optimization.
- Manage daily logistics planning and operational activities, including the assessment of transportation requests, delivery date feasibility, and compliance with applicable regulations, global planning rules, and organizational requirements.
- Execute daily logistics planning and operational processes, including shipment scheduling and tracking, as well as monitoring logistics-related issues identified during post-shipment visual inspections and quality reviews.
- Monitor shipment preparation activities, including documentation and material readiness, ensure timely communication of any delays to relevant stakeholders, and coordinate risk mitigation plans to prevent operational disruptions and financial impact.
- Maintain active communication with logistics service providers (e.g., 3PL partners) and all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and execution of logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, company policies, and safety standards for all shipments, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Provide input for the review and alignment of inbound logistics delivery terms (Incoterms) to enhance operational synergies and improve supply chain efficiency.
All About You
- Bachelor's degree;
- Preferably at least 8 year of experience in Logistics or similar operational role;
- Fluent English and Hungarian;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Ability to manage multiple service areas in a dynamic campus environment;
- Strong digital skills, including SAP applications and MS Office tools;
- Analytical thinking and reporting capabilities
