Role Description

We are looking for Logistics Planning Responsible to take part in HQ located in Tuzla – İstanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
•   Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Engineering, Maritime Transport and Management Engineering, or International Logistics Departments).
•   Min. 2-3 years of experience in Logistics Operations.
•   Has technical knowledge in Sea Shipments (Container and Bulk Shipments), Transportation Management, Supplier Management, and Operation Management.
•   Shows strong business judgment and analytical thinking skills, data analysis skills, strong teamwork skills, having the ability to influence others
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
•   Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products, Analytical Tools (such as Power BI, etc.), and preferably SAP (S4 Hana).
•   Works on a multitask base and being solution oriented
•   Contributes to presentations and demonstrates strong reporting skills.
•   Have no restriction to travel (if needed)

JOB DESCRIPTION
•   Execution of Ocean Container/Bulk Shipments operation activities
•   Managing the operational process from the factory to the delivery of export shipments to the customer
•   Coordinating the outbound shipments planning in accordance with the workflow processes
•   Controlling the performance of logistics providers and communicating with agencies/shipping lines/forwarders
•   Ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders
•   Preparing and controlling the logistics budget, making invoice approvals, and following suppliers’ payments
•   Providing system developments to help the development of business processes
•   Preparing and presenting necessary reports
