Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferable Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Systems Engineering or relevant)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related fields
  • Analytical thinking and proven ability to solve problems with sustainable results
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint applications
  • Provide input to Integrated Planning Manager for him/her to create daily weekly, and monthly reports and analytics and provide support in the maintenance of these reports
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong communication skills and a good team player
  • No restrictions for domestic and international travels

Job Description(H)

  • Collect customer forecast from Sales team and revise the demand forecast according to customer forecast if the customer forecast is accurate enough. Finalize the demand forecast for the Aftermarket (AFM) category in order for it to be used as an input for the S&OP process
  • Calculate and report demand forecast performance and complete root analysis if there is an issue
  • Come up with action items (related to segmentation, forecast parameters etc.) to develop forecast model and improve the forecast by implementing those items
  • Enhance the unconstrained demand plan by adding up supply constraints from supply network plan to create constrained demand linked with financials and inform related shareholders if there is a change in the constrained demand due to supply constraints
  • Collect input from Supply Planning and Sales teams (supply scenarios from Supply Planning team and prioritized orders, project-based sales etc. from Sales team) to conduct scenario planning for the Aftermarket (AFM) and OEM categories. Update the scenarios based on the feedback from the Aftermarket Senior Demand & Supply Planner
  • Provide consolidated demand forecast for AFM and OEM for S&OP preparation and share with relevant stakeholders (including Supply/Stock Planning and Finance teams)
  • List S&OP action items and communicate them when consensus on the actions is achieved
  • Share the demand forecast for the Aftermarket (AFM)  and OEM categories in SKU level with the organization after financial S&OP results are finalized and scenarios are approved by upper management
  • Work with Sales team to reshape forecast based on consumption logic and initiate necessary actions if the actual consumption is different than forecasted demand
