Global Material Planner

Qualifications

We are looking for a "Global Material Planner" to take part in Şişecam Headquarters;

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferable Industrial Engineering)
• Having minimum 2 years experience in the field of supply chain, planning
• Analytical thinking and proven ability to solve problems with sustainable results
• Preferably having a knowledge of SAP, MRP, ERP, Pyhton, SQL
• Software knowledge is an asset
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong communication skills and a good team player
• No restrictions for domestic and international travels

Job Description:

• Work with and assist the Global Material Manager in leading operations by completing the daily and long term material planning activities related to materials in a timely and efficient manner
• Drive global synergy from the material planning operations for materials and work on projects such as consolidating the material planning practices to standardize tools and capability across the company
• Proactively liaise with all levels of the organization on material-related issues, including issues related to shipments between suppliers/factories, and simultaneously address potential negative impacts on internal and external customers
• Determine the management and inventory policies of and materials classify and manage the products accordingly
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels, and finding ways to improve the current stock turnover rate and stock days
• Minimize obsolete stock and manage slow-moving and inactive items and if required, initiate and follow up the disposal process
• Utilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) that MRP outputs are accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required
• Schedule the supply of materials to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels, provide Bill Of Materials (BOM) integrity and determine to reorder point for replenishment
