Demand&Supply Plan. Development Specialist

More About the Role

• Responsible for the development of supply and demand planning policies and providing guidance to supply and demand planning teams
• Responsible for analyzing and optimizing demand planning processes to ensure standardization and effectiveness, including researching global benchmarks and monitoring the adoption of processes and policies
• Responsible for supporting the Supply and Demand Planning Development Manager in the consolidation of S&OP across Şişecam from an integration perspective and sharing outputs with relevant stakeholders (Finance, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, etc.)
• Responsible for collecting demand planning data and performing necessary analyses for KPI, SLA, and OLA target setting to support the Supply and Demand Planning Development Manager
• Responsible for preparing project activities, project plans, approach documents, and resource planning for demand planning initiatives, and proposing new strategic initiative ideas in collaboration with demand planning teams
• Responsible for monitoring the implementation of demand planning development projects (S&OP improvement, inventory reduction and optimization, demand planning platforms, etc.), including updating project plans when necessary and informing relevant stakeholders to ensure adherence
• Leading digitalization initiatives for supply and demand planning functions and performing necessary activities to establish standards in collaboration with digital teams
• Proactively identifying bottlenecks in planning processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives through the development, planning, and execution of projects to improve overall process efficiency

All About You

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Industrial, Computer or relevant)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the related field
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong communication skills and a good team player
• No restrictions for domestic and international travels
• Prior experience in Supply Chain processes with a focus on Planning is preferred
