Role Description

Responsibilities:

Execute tenders in line with procedures;
Creating supplier lists, creating alternative suppliers and managing supplier relations;
Following the developments in the sector;
Determining category strategy and developing tender specifications;
Managing spot, short and long term tender processes;
Conducting a cost-benefit analysis;
Negotiating prices with suppliers;
Supplier selection and implementing new suppliers;
Preparation of contracts, strategic negotiations, signing contracts;
Supplier dispute management;
Ensuring coordination with internal and external stakeholders;
Preparation and submission of necessary reports;
Coordinate communication between the suppliers, Şişecam plants in Russia, Moscow Branch and Istanbul Office. Resolve conflicts and settle claims;
Oversee procurement activities executed by local procurement teams.

Requirements:

Having technical knowledge for road and railway shipments;
Strong communication, negotiation and teamwork skills;
Strong reporting skills, be able to contribute to presentations;
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to manage complexity and uncertainty;
Experience with contract management;
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (especially Excel);
Upper-Intermediate level of English or above (fluency in written and spoken). Knowledge of Turkish is a great advantage but not obligatory;
Experience in multinationals, manufacturing or glass sector, preferably;
Experienced SAP user, preferably.

Working terms:

Salary is discussed individually;
Hybrid work schedule (from 8:30 to 17:30).
