• Design of products of the Sisecam Automotive Group;
• Structure of 2D and 3D data with CATIA V5 or Siemens NX;
• Structure of the data according to CAD guidelines and design methods of the respective OEM environments;
• Examination of the data according to the customer's quality requirements using the test methods valid at the time;
• Design of production-ready data sets taking into account tooling cost factors;
• Handling of the PDM Tool SMARTEAM;
• Maintenance of database information;
• Documentation according to the guidelines of the Sisecam Automotive Group;
• Participation in regular communications, customer meetings;
• Coordination with the toolmakers regarding the tool-appropriate design;
• Support of externally outsourced CAD services;
• Participation in the development process;
• On-time processing of assigned tasks and orders;
• Data transfers;
• Independent FEM calculations;
• Creation of the D-FMEAs;

 All About You

• Bachelor Degree in technical education with additional qualification and corresponding proven professional experience;
• Minimum 3 years of design experience in the automotive sector, exterior as advantage;
• Very good experience in thermoplastic design;
• Very good knowledge of CAD and simulation systems, especially CATIA V5 / Siemens NX;
• Very good knowledge of the change-friendly structure of free-form surfaces and solid models;
• Ideally, knowledge of how to use the PDM Tool SMARTEAM;
• Confident handling of MS Office tools;
• Good written and spoken German & English skills;
