Production Process Engineer

Role Description

We are looking for a Production Engineer for our newly built factory in Kaposvár.
About the job:

• Ensuring the production program is carried out with the specified quality and on time, and educating and raising awareness of the team in line with these goals.
• Closely monitoring the shipment quantities and stock status of raw materials and ensuring they are stored appropriately.
• Performing necessary controls to ensure processes are operated in accordance with technology; taking necessary measures in case of deviations.
• Ensuring the economical use of inputs; implementing practices to reduce consumption and prevent waste of energy, raw materials, auxiliary materials, and natural resources.
• Creating project topics to develop products and technology within the company.
• Evaluating customer requests; identifying the necessary technology, process, and materials, and updating product and technology roadmaps in line with company strategy goals.
• Generating process development project topics to meet cost reduction, efficiency, operational demands, and new product/product modification/quality improvement requirements.
• Conducting patent and literature research, creating and maintaining a development-oriented database.
• Providing technical services to ensure the expected performance of products in customers’ production processes, meeting and guiding customer demands.

What we need from you:

• Graduated from Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, departments of universities.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in English.
• Glass production or similar production environment experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications, preferably able to use AutoCAD.
• Preferably knowledgeable and experienced in Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing Methodology, and able to use Minitab.
• High skills in organization, planning, reporting, analysis, and especially follow-up.
• Able to manage work-time effectively in a high-paced work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, responsible, and team-oriented.
