Qualifications
We are looking for a Quality Engineering Supervisor to take part in Şişecam Automotive located in Buzau, Romania
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Material Engineering preferred)
- Min. 5 years’ experience (Preferably in automotive sector)
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
- Preferably good command of Romanian
- Good knowledge of SAP ERP
- Good command of MS Office applications
- Experience in IATF 16949 is a plus
- Qualified as an Internal Auditor is a plus (System / Process)
- Having strong people management skills
- Good interpersonal skills, dynamic team player, structural thinking, and professional approach towards suppliers and customers
- Availability for travelling to suppliers/customers (internal and abroad)
Job Description
- Work with and assist Plant Quality Manager in leading his/her team to ensure that daily operations are completed in a timely and efficient manner according to the vision, strategy and strategic plan set forth by Global Accounts Quality Director and Quality Management and Continuous Improvement function
- Assist Quality Management and Continuous Improvement function by establishing and adapting quality processes and procedures on plant level according to Şişecam group-wide standards and requirements
- Provide standardized quality performance data and lead quality improvement initiatives launched by Quality Management and Continuous Improvement at plant level
- Calibrate and manage (maintenance, reliability (MSA, lifecycle management), purchase request) quality inspection and measurement equipment
- Assist quality audits by supporting preparations of customer quality audits and 3rd party inspections and by conducting adjustments in case of quality audit findings
- Lead plant level non-conformity and CAPA management by analyzing non-conformities, determining immediate actions, performing root cause analysis and taking corrective and/or preventive actions
- Support new product development support and launch approval process by providing plant specific guidance during feasibility analysis, prototyping and approvals
- Assist Customer Quality Management by taking ownership of customer quality complaints management at plant level (e.g. analyzing root causes, collecting/reporting data etc.) and leading plant-level customer satisfaction improvement initiatives under the guidance of Customer Quality Managers
- Build strong relationships and work closely with his/her team, act as the primary contact for assigned employees and support team in their professional development by coaching team members, setting goals, steering skill development, and developing individual action plans and train team as needed
- Monitor performance reports and KPI’s shared by Plant Quality and Environment Manager and assist taking corrective actions proactively for unachieved goals
- Control / monitor quality & timeliness of deliverables, lead weekly project reviews on improvement projects
