Supplier Quality Manager

Job Description (H)

• Lead and manage supplier quality to ensure that its overall performance is in line with the determined vision, strategy and strategic plan
• Monitor and report on supplier quality performance, promoting continuous improvement in defect prevention, change management, and waste reduction
• Maintain an updated supplier database with quality data and identify improvement opportunities
• Support Purchasing and Supplier Development teams in ensuring appropriate supplier quality
• Assist in on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Provide guidance on supplier quality data for new business initiatives and projects
• Contribute input and resources for supplier quality management projects led by Quality Management and Continuous Improvement
• Monitor relevant reports to measure supplier quality management performance and take proactive corrective actions for unmet targets

Qualifications

We are looking for a "Supplier Quality Manager" to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla/İstanbul. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• A deep understanding of the automotive industry for ensuring supplier compliance with industry-specific standards and regulations and having OEM experience for new business initiatives and projects
• Strong knowledge of supplier management practices, including supplier evaluation, selection, auditing, and performance monitoring.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to implement best practices and drive efficiencies in supplier quality processes.
• Project management skills to lead supplier quality projects and initiatives effectively
• Communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills for collaborating with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and senior management
• Leadership skills to manage a team, drive supplier quality initiatives, and influence positive change.
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• No restriction to travel
