Role Description
We are looking for a "Sales Supervisor" to work in the Flat Glass Sales Group Management, which is part of the Regional Sales Senior Directorate (Turkey) within Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla/Istanbul.
•Bachelor's degree from related universities
•Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in sales, customer relations, product management or similar field.
•Fluent in English with advanced English persuasion and negotiation skills
•High planning and organizational skills, result-oriented
•Proficient in MS Office applications (Advanced Excel, Power Point), preferably able to use SAP
•Strong communication skills, prone to teamwork
•Advanced problem solving, analytical and reporting skills.
•No restrictions for domestic and international travels, driver's license (Active user)
•Innovative, investigative, and open to change
•Competent in decision making and problem solving.
JOB DESCRIPTION
•Receiving requests from customers and converting the received requests into orders.
•Preparation, planning and follow-up operations regarding the shipment of the orders received and taking initiatives for their shipment from the relevant warehouses.
•Developing suggestions and preparing offers for all kinds of products in the sales line.
•Sending price lists, sales conditions, catalogues, brochures and providing information about applications to organizations that are or may be included in the customer portfolio.
•Follows up on entering customer requests/complaints into the computer, resolving them and initiating and executing corrective/preventive actions.
•Making periodic visits to determine the requests and suggestions of the organizations that are or may be in its customer portfolio.
•By visiting wholesalers, chain catering establishments and catering segment end points; market dynamics, developments, competition, requests, opinions are shared at the point closest to the consumer or user.
•Preparing the visit report which includes market, competition, customer wishes and complaints.
•Preparing studies on new products and subjects and presenting suggestions to the manager
•Working on gaining new customers by visiting potential customer groups.
•Ensuring that the samples to be given or sent to the organizations that are or may be included in the customer portfolio.
•Serving as a representative of the company in fairs and exhibitions, and carrying out the arrangement, placement, and collection of display areas.
•Assisting in product selection when necessary for organizations such as Fairs and Exhibitions and supplying products to be exhibited from manufacturers and warehouses.
•Following up customer payments, performs credit-risk checks and carries out work in close cooperation with the relevant accounting unit.
