Role Description

We are looking for a Financial Controller to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla / Istanbul;

· Bachelor’s degree with major in Business Administration, Industry Engineering, Economics, Accounting or Finance
· Minimum 5 years of experience in related fields,
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
· Proficiency in MS Office, IFRS and SAP applications (Especially MS Excel skills)
· Analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail and proven ability to solve problems with sustainable results
· A sense of urgency, performance with integrity, passion for achievement

Job Description

· Execution of monthly IFRS financial closing process at each level and ensuring correct accounting entries and IFRS adjustments,
· End to end control and analysis of entity’s trial balance on monthly and yearly basis.
· Control and analysis & investigate trends for key P&L items using historical/ other comparative data and provide value-adding commentary, on performance variances,
· Follow up on the risk records issued by external and internal auditors, support on the implementation of the controls and risk mitigations,
· Implements and follow the financial controls with the aim to be compliance with local account and tax regulations,
· Supporting Tax Team to comply with international, local, state and government reporting requirements and tax filings
· Building the systems, structures and processes, that will enable us to keep growing at pace and ensure we are compliant with all relevant financial regulations
· Preparation and controlling of quarterly financial packages in accordance with IFRS for Şişecam Consolidation
· Directly taking part in the finance transformation initiatives to deliver process standardization & systemization of reporting, and month end close process
·Employing and following-up of transfer pricings in accordance with the policies
·Elaborating cost item analyzes for the needs of company management (weekly, monthly)
· Providing management with proactive, timely, and fiscally responsible information vital to the decision-making process.
